Frequently Asked Questions
Our team of specialists made a list of the most common questions we get. Always you will find other useful information below.
What is a podiatrist and what do they treat?
A podiatrist is a healthcare professional who specialises in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the feet, ankles, and lower limbs. This includes skin and nail disorders, musculoskeletal issues, sports injuries, and diabetic foot care.
Is everything sterile during treatment?
Yes. We adhere to strict infection control protocols to ensure all instruments, surfaces, and treatment areas are fully sterilised between patients. Single-use items are disposed of appropriately, and reusable instruments are sterilised using medical-grade autoclaves. Your safety and hygiene are our top priorities. This policy is also followed for our Medi-Pedi treatments.
Is everything sterile during medi-pedi treatments?
Yes. We follow strict clinical hygiene protocols to ensure all instruments and surfaces are fully sterilised before each treatment. Single-use items are disposed of safely, and reusable tools are sterilised using medical-grade autoclaves. Our medi-pedi treatments are performed in a clinical setting by qualified professionals, prioritising both your safety and comfort.
Do you accept insurance or NHS referrals?
Yes, we accept most private health insurance plans and NHS referrals. We will provide you with an invoice with our HCPC details which you will then forward to your insurance company.
Do you offer diabetic foot assessments?
Yes, we provide comprehensive screenings to monitor circulation, nerve function, and skin integrity. As Podiatrist we have extensive knowledge and experience in this condition.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is necessary. You can book directly with us.
What conditions do you commonly treat?
We regularly treat plantar fasciitis, bunions, corns, calluses, fungal nails, ingrown toenails, flat feet, and diabetic foot issues, among others.
